What is remembering all about? Why does God ask us to purposely take time to reflect? In this large group lesson we dig into the true meaning and importance of this revered holiday. And we take kids a step further, into the dry bed of the Jordan River where God split the waters for the benefit of His people. Why did God ask them to set up a memorial in this spot? How can we do the same in the important places where we see God at work?

Our small group discussion leads kids to think through these questions and discuss the significance memorials might have in their own lives. Kids will go home with a memorial of their own to help them recall God’s faithfulness.
